Biography
Im a student of the Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Marine Biology taught by the universities of Vigo, Santiago and Coruña. I am currently researching about variability in the diet of stranded common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) on Galician coast which has an historical series since 1990. Simultaneously I analyze the presence of microplastics in these organisms.
Previously I did the Bachelor’s Degree of Marine Sciences between the University of Vigo (Uvigo) and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC). My final degree project consisted of the pyrene adsorption (PAHs) by microplastics.
Research interest
My main interests are the study of the ecology and conservation of marine mammals and their interaction with fisheries. I am also interested in the fishing ecology of exploited species and the evaluation of fisheries in marine protected areas (MPAs).
